- Changes to our Terms and Conditions
In this document the following words shall have the following meanings:
"Buyer", "You" means the organisation or person who buys the goods.
"Goods" means the articles to be supplied by us to you.
"Seller", "Us", "We", "Lube Finder" means Graham Wharton T/A Lube Finder, 26 Reedling Close, Weymouth, DT3 5RX, United Kingdom.
These Terms and Conditions shall apply to all sales of goods by us to you.
Any variation to these Terms and Conditions must be agreed by both parties in writing for them to be enforceable.
Payment is required when you place the order. We do not offer credit facilities.
Orders will only be shipped once full payment for the goods has been received. Payment can be made by Credit/Debit card or by Bank Transfer.
Any description given or applied to the goods is given by way of identification only.
Whilst we make every effort to ensure the information we present is accurate, we cannot be held responsible for any mistakes/errors in the information given. This does not affect your rights to return unwanted products to us.
We make every effort to ensure that the product details shown on the website are correct, however if after you receive your goods from us, you are not completely satisfied with your purchase, then please, in the first instance contact us so that we can look into your concerns in more detail. You must contact us within 30 days of receiving the goods if you would like to raise an issue with us. If you are still unsatisfied with our response, then we will be more than happy to accept your order back in return for a full refund.
You shall pay for the cost of returning goods to us that you no longer want. All goods returned to us for a refund must be undamaged and in a saleable condition.
Please only return items to us if you have contacted us first and we have agreed to accept the items back.
Please package the items to the same standard that you received them in, and return them to the following address using a fully tracked postal or courier service.
Include a copy of the email authorising the return of the items inside the package so we can identify which order they belong to. Once returned items have been received and checked by us, we will issue a refund within 2 business days following the date of receipt.
In the case of Credit/Debit card purchases, refunds will be made back to the original card within 2 business days (It may take up to 5 working days to appear on your statement). Refunds for items made by bank transfer will be made within 2 business days of you providing us with your bank details.
If an item that we send out is returned to us by the Postal Services because there was an error in the address that you provided, or you failed to collect the item from your local postal office/courier after a delivery attempt has been made, then we will only refund the cost of the products returned to us. We would not be able to refund any postage costs paid in this case. If the item was returned to us because of a mistake that we made, then a full refund will be given.
If you have received an item that is damaged in transit, or there has been a leak inside the packaging, then please contact us. It would be helpful if you could provide us with as much information as possible about the problem (pictures etc), as we would like to make sure we can modify our packaging process to make sure the same problem doesn't happen again to you, or anyone else. We will of course replace (free of charge) any damaged items that you receive.
Replacement items will be shipped using the shipping method of our choice, and may not be the same method as originally paid for. If suitable replacements cannot be sourced, then a full refund will be made.
Any damages, shortages, over deliveries and duplicated orders should be reported to us within 7 business days of receipt to enable replacement or refund.
We purchase all of our oils in bulk and we bottle them ourselves. The packaging they come in is not original manufacturers packaging, nor is the labelling, however the important information, e.g specifications, identification and batch number is replicated on the labelling supplied. The oils are bottled in a clean area and every care is taken to avoid any contamination to the oil during transfer. Please note that we use professional transfer equipment that is cleaned properly when switching between different types and grades of oil.
UK Shipping
You must order by 3pm to get same day dispatch using Royal Mail and by 10am to get same day dispatch using DHL. Some remote locations within the UK may take longer. Tracking numbers (if available) will be provided by email when your item ships.
International Shipping
You must order by 10am to get same day dispatch using DHL. Tracking numbers (if available) will be provided by email when your item ships.
If you are purchasing from outside of the UK, local import duty and taxes may be payable. Any import duty and taxes are the responsibility of you, the buyer, and may be required to be paid by you to our courier prior to them releasing/delivering the parcel to you. If you are unsure whether import duty and taxes will be applicable to your purchase, we advise you to contact your local government tax office for more information.
For certain destinations we may offer an option to collect import VAT/Duty at our checkout and remit these charges to the recipient country's authorities directly. In these cases, packages should pass through customs with no additional charges to pay.
We will always attempt to deliver the goods to you using the method chosen by you during the checkout, however sometimes we may need to change the shipping provider or use an alternative service to the one chosen in order to provide the relevant service. When we do so, we will attempt to use an equivalent service.
If we have split your delivery down into smaller packages (e.g due to volume restrictions on sending fluids internationally via Royal Mail), then we cannot guarantee that they will all arrive on the same day.
Quoted delivery times are not guaranteed.
We aim to dispatch goods on the same day as they are ordered if they are placed before the order cutoff time. This varies depending on the shipping provider chosen, and is stated during the checkout process. Sometimes because of IT failures, extreme weather, it may not always be possible to dispatch on the same day, in which case, we will notify you that there has been a delay.
We are not responsible for any costs that you incur due to the late delivery of an item from us. If the courier we use to ship an item to you indicates that the item has been lost in transit, then we will send out a replacement item at our cost, however we will only do this once we have had confirmation from the courier that it has been lost. This may be in the form of tracking details, or waiting until a certain time period has elapsed.
Ownership of the goods will transfer to you when you have paid for the goods in full. Risk in the goods shall pass to you when they are delivered, or when you collect the goods from us.
We shall not be liable for any loss or damage suffered by you in excess of the purchase price.
Nothing contained in these Terms and Conditions shall be construed as establishing or implying any partnership, joint venture or agency between the parties.
If either of us fail to enforce any clause within these terms and conditions, this shall not preclude them from enforcing that clause in the future.
If a court determines that any clause of these Terms and Conditions is unenforceable, then this shall only affect that clause. All other clauses remain in effect.
This sale of goods shall be governed by the laws of England.
We may modify or update these Terms and Conditions from time to time to reflect the changes in our business and practices, and you should review this page periodically. We will update the "Effective Date" at the top of this page when we post changes to the Privacy Policy or our Terms and Conditions. Continuing to use our Services after we publish changes means that you have read and understood the changes.
